Philip Todd, presenter of Knox, is a Scottish actor and director who has recently completed his second feature film through his production company, Fellowship Film.

The first flagship production of Trinity Digital, “Knox” has gone on to win awards and be screened around the world. We are now working on a second feature documentary entitled “Morningstar”.

Professor Jane Dawson
Professor Jane DawsonProfessor of Reformation History, New College, Edinburgh University
Jane came to New College in 1991 from the University of St. Andrews, where she began her academic career in the late 1970s. She has lectured and written widely on the subject of the Reformation. Her latest work, a biography of John Knox, was released in early 2015. A particular field of interest for her is psalm-singing in Reformation times.

Originally from Australia, John trained at the Free Church College and was awarded his doctorate from Glasgow University. After serving as minister of Lochgilphead Free Church 1994-1998, and Poolewe and Aultbea Free Church from 1998 -2005, he joined the staff at ETS when he was appointed to the chair of Church History in 2005. He has also taught courses in church history in Glasgow University.
Dr. Scott Spurlock

Originally from Idaho, USA, Scott came to Scotland in the late 1990s, studying in New College before teaching in Aberdeen University, Trinity College Dublin, Belfast Bible College and Manchester University. He is teaching at Glasgow University with a particular focus on the Scottish Reformation and the subsequent church culture. Scott is the editor of the peer-reviewed Records of the Scottish Church History Society and the book review editor of Theology in Scotland.
Rev. Dr. Douglas Somerset

Originally from England, Douglas has been the minister of Aberdeen Free Presbyterian Church since 2005. From 2010 he has been the Secretary of the Scottish Reformation Society and has edited their quarterly magazine 'The Bulwark' and their academic journal 'The Scottish Reformation Society Historical Journal'. The Society exists to promote the values of the Scottish Reformation in the present day.
Rev. Maurice Roberts

Maurice was born at Chester in 1938. He was educated at Durham University and he studied theology at the Free Church College. He was editor of The Banner of Truth magazine from 1988 to 2003 and has written a number of books. From 2003 till 2012 he lectured in Greek and New Testament at the Free Church (continuing) Seminary. He ministered in Ayr and Inverness before his retiral in 2010, and continues to preach and lecture across the world. Since 2012 he has been a trustee of Reformation Scotland.

Kenny comes from Uist and trained in the Free Church College. He has had high- profile ministries in Canada, Stornoway and Glasgow. In 2011, Kenny became the minister of the Glasgow congregation of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Scotland and has been the chairman of the RST since it was formed in 2012.
